$22.00

Sustainably, ethically and responsibly harvested snake shed, ritually cleansed and dried.

1 FULL SHED RECEIVED WITH ORDER

Snakes are believed to represent holders sacred knowledge, morphing through rites of passage, shedding and renewal, spiritual awakening, personal transformation and growth as well as healing and letting go of what no longer serves.

This shed is received regularly via natural process from one Red Tail Boa morph. She is an honored and respected member of the family who found her way to our home through “happenstance” and as soon as she arrived, she shed her skin, in step with the transformation she was experiencing, moving from one home to another; which set me on a journey of releasing fear and embracing change, offering me the opportunity to be a guardian of this sacred animal and a keeper of Earth’s bountiful resources.

Spiritual Symbolism of Red Tail Boa:

1. Grounded Power & Inner Strength
Red-tailed boas are strong but not aggressive. Spiritually, this represents quiet power—strength that doesn’t need to prove itself. It can symbolize learning to trust your inner stability and resilience rather than reacting impulsively.

2. Patience and Strategic Movement
Unlike fast-striking snakes, boas move slowly and deliberately. This often symbolizes:

  • Patience

  • Timing

  • Knowing when to act and when to wait
Spiritually, it can be a reminder that steady progress is just as powerful as speed.

3. Transformation with Stability
Like all snakes, the red-tailed boa sheds its skin, symbolizing transformation and renewal. What makes it unique is that the transformation happens without chaos—it represents growth while staying grounded and emotionally balanced.

4. Root Chakra & Earth Energy
Because boas are heavy-bodied and close to the ground, they are often linked to earth energy and the root chakra:

  • Safety

  • Survival

  • Physical presence

  • Feeling “at home” in your body and environment

Seeing or feeling drawn to a red-tailed boa can symbolize a need to reconnect with stability, security, or self-trust.

5. Control, Not Domination
Boas constrict rather than inject venom. Symbolically, this can represent:

  • Emotional control

  • Boundaries

  • The ability to hold situations firmly without harming
It’s about containment, not destruction—managing power responsibly.

6. Ancestral Wisdom & Ancient Knowledge
Snakes are ancient symbols, and boas in particular are often seen as guardians of old wisdom. Spiritually, they may represent:

  • Learning from the past

  • Ancestral knowledge

  • Instinctual intelligence

🔴 Meaning of the Red Tail Specifically
